 It is a mission to eliminate substantial life style of the people living in rural areas.Rural development programs help rural communities to improve community facilities such as health,water,environment etc. Our rural development programs bring an awareness in them to use the natural resources,recycling of the waste,preserve the environment,usage of eco-friendly goods.

People living in rural areas have inadequate knowledge of using the available resources and make a living out of it.SRMSWS educate them, give needed training in the field and show them the way to come out of poverty.We lay special emphasis on girl's education.
As it is said 'one girl graduate is equal to five boy graduates' and the ratio is 1.5.The rapid strides in scientific and technological advancements have undoutedly brought about the revolutionary changes in our lifestyle.But all this has not affected women in a significant way.
women in rural areas still face numerous problems like gender bias,devaluation at home and work place, secondary status in matrimony,inheritance,public life and power.SRMSWS aims at empowering them,make them self supportive.
Adequate care should be given to youth.bring an awareness in them regarding the ills of the society and educate them about their social responsibilities.Health awareness programs and eye,dental,HIV,primary health care camps help the poor who cannot afford the treatment.Children are regarded as assets of the society.But,ironically, the statistics tell the opposite.
Out of 21 million children born every year in India, one million are abandoned soon after their birth due to different socio-economic causes.many children are working in hazardousindustries. |
