| Obviously, todays child is tomarrows responsible citizen.It is like you are indirectly extending your support in moulding a child into a good adult, as well building a strong society. |

| Why should you help a child living with the parents? |
| We can categorize the children in different ways eg orphans,destitutes,single parent child,children who have parents living below poverty line and cannot afford to provide them with the basic needs. Your sponsorship to such children may transform their life. |

| How long can I sponsor a child? |
|
You sponsor a child as long as you have the feesibility. There is no compulsion in this regard.It totally depends on the will and wish of the sponsorer. |

| Do I get a progress report on my sponsored child and his/her education? |
|
You do get the progress report of your sponsored child when you are supporting his/her education or in case of total sponsorship. |

| Can I sponsor more than one child? |
| Ofcourse you can. Not only the children you can also sponsor a senior citizen,a disabled,or a member in the self employment training centre. |

| How can I send my contribution? |
| You can send your contribution through money order,gifts,cheques and demand drafts. The sponsorship amount can be paid monthly,quarterly,half yearly, yearly.
You can send post dated cheques. Please do not send postal order and also sending through mail. Always make a cheque,D.D,favouring SRMSWS. |

| Can I send money to the child directly or to the local SRMSWS? |
| Receipts for all the contributions and payments will be issued from the head office in secunderabad. It is always better to send your contrib. ution to the head office. |

| How do I update my contact details? |
|
In case of changing your postal address,contact phone number,mail address or your name please contact our Donor Relations department office in secunderabad. |

| What happens if I cannot pay my sponsorship payments.What will happen to the child? |
|
If you need to cancel your sponsorship just let us know and we will find another sponsorer for the child.Your child will not be neglected.The benefits as planned for the children in the community will be carried out. |

| a.Can I write to my sponsored child,elder a member in the selfemployment training centre.? |

You can certainly write to your sponsored member.In fact, we encourage our sponsorer to write tom their children so as to get know them and their family better. Your sponsorship member can also write to you. Many sponsorer and sponsored member find this a rewarding experience, if the child is very young and cannot write, some one will probably help him/her to write or the project staff will write on their behalf. |

| b.To whom should I address the letters and cards I send to my sponsored child or member |
Any communication to your child should be addressed to Donor Relations Officer,SRMSWS,INDIA at secunderabad office. Our address H.N. 12-8-471/B,Modis Compound, Mettuguda, SECUNDERABD, 17 ANDHRA PRADESH,INDIA.
For quick reference and easy processing it is always important that you write your full name, sponsorers reference ID number,the child’s name on the envelop or in the correspondence.
Your sponsorer reference number is always found on the right portion of the receipt,after your name.eg.123456.You can find your sponsored child’s ID.Number in the picture folder eg-------.
We do not encourage sponsorer to write directly to their sponsored member as the address of the sponsorer may fall into a wrong hand and be misused. |

| c.How can I help you process receipts faster |
| It is sufficient if you mention your full name and sponsorer reference number on the reverse side of the cheque or demand draft.please mention the address and pin code of the bank for outstation cheques.
When we receive cheques,demand drafts, without names or addresses they are put into anonymous account. We correct the receipts to the sponsorers name only when the sponsorer asks for the receipt.Therefore, please write your full name and address on the envelop or in your letter. |

| d.Can I send extra gift money to my sponsored child |
Extra gift money either for the child’s education,medical needs or projects needs is always welcome.
But extra money for a particular child or family is not encouraged, it can cause jealousy among other members of the community.If it is meant for the needs of a project, the benefits extends to the whole community and this is acceptable.
If the gift amount is too small, the administrative cost for sending the money is very high.Therefore, we suggest that your gift money be a minimum of rs 500/- you can include this amount along with your regular monthly sponsorship gift. |

| e.Can I visit the sponsor child/member |
| Yes, you are most welcome to visit the child your sponsored member and meet the family. A visit means you can also see how much the people have been able to accomplish with yoyr sponsorship support.A visit also makes your sponsorship more meaningful for you as well a your sponsored child/member.
Kindly write to the Mnager,Donar Relations at the Head Office at secunderabad well in advance so that we can make necessary arrangements for the visit. In some cases when the project is too inaccessible or you have time constraints because of which the child is to be brought from the project to meet the travel cost, boarding and food for the child/member and the escort.
We request all the child/member sponsoreres to go through our child/member protection policy before visiting the child/member. |

| f.Can I adopt my sponsored child/member |
| No, SRMSWS doesnot organize adoption. All our children live with their families in the community and goal of sponsorship is to buildup their community around them rather than relocating the children. |
